A basic timber kayak includes the following;
- Approx. 5.5m Ocean going timber strip Kayak
- Sandwhich construction using 200gsm fiberglass with clear uV stable resin
- 2 layers of 200gsm fiberglass around inner seat and upper deck for strength when re-entering the cockpit in the water
- Sealed day hatch aft of seat
- In-built eyelets on the bow and stern to enable grab handles if desired
- Skirt ridge to retain most water proof skirts
- Epoxy filled internal bow and stern
